About Planlark

Built alongside teachers

Planlark started with a simple observation: the tools teachers use for planning haven't kept up with the reality of teaching. Static lesson planners treat planning as a paperwork task. AI tools bolt on a chatbot and call it done. Neither approach respects the complexity of what teachers actually do every day.

We're building Planlark alongside teachers in Alberta, Canada — working with educators who manage multiple classes, rotating schedules, and the constant cycle of planning, adapting, and reflecting. Every feature in Planlark comes from real classroom needs, not product roadmap assumptions.

Our approach

We believe AI should be woven into the planning experience, not presented as a separate assistant. Planlark's intelligence understands your schedule, your teaching history, and your curriculum — so it can genuinely help you think through your plans, not just generate generic content.

We also believe that the best planning tool doesn't stop at the lesson plan. Planning, teaching, and reflecting are one connected workflow. That's why Planlark includes voice planning, real-time adaptation, and a daily debrief system that carries insights from today into tomorrow's plan.

What's next

Planlark is in early access. We're growing carefully, working closely with teachers to make sure every feature earns its place. If you're a teacher who wants more from your planning tools, we'd love to hear from you.
